Our Ambassadors
Our Ambassador Program plays a critical role in expanding our outreach and building global community support for families affected by FOXP1 syndrome. Parents volunteer to be their National or Regional Ambassador. They are key in fostering communication, providing support, raising funds and awareness within their country or with those that speak the same language. Countries with a dedicated Ambassador are listed below in alphabetical order. Each listing includes the country or region, ambassador first name, language notes where available, and a contact link.

About the Ambassador Program
The program provides opportunties to build connections and a FOXP1 community with those in your country, region or who speak the same language.
Ambassadors are parents of children with FOXP1 syndrome who volunteer their time and expertise to support others navigating the same diagnosis.
An ambassador can help you with:
- Navigating local support services and healthcare systems.
- Interpreting research papers or translated information.
- Connecting with other FOXP1 families in your country or region.
- Offering a listening ear to discuss the diagnosis, therapy strategies, and day-to-day challenges.
- Helping families feel less alone, even when they are the only diagnosed family in their country.
- Organising fundraising events to support the International Foundation.
- Advocating for changes in local government services or policies.
