The FOXP1 Conference 2025 will be located at IJmuiden Netherlands.
Basecamp IJmuiden will host the FOXP1 and siblings day program, and they have Tiny Houses for rent
Leonardo Hotel will host the presentations, break out sessions, and meals. They have hotel rooms for rent
These 2 locations are directly across the street from each other, only a few minutes walk.
IJmuiden is 40 minutes from the Amsterdam International Airport

Transportation
Transportation options to IJmuiden Netherlands from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), or train Amsterdam Central Station are:

Take a train (NS Sprinter) at Schiphol Airport train station to Amsterdam Sloterdijk, then transfer to a bus (Connexxion R-Net Bus 382) to bus stop IJmuiden aan Zee, IJmuiden. It takes about 70 min in total.

Arriving by car

Follow directions to Amsterdam. When approaching Amsterdam, follow the signs to Haarlem and when approaching Haarlem, signs for IJmuiden will be visible. Follow signs to Ijmuiden aan Zee and you will arrive at both locations.

Basecamp and the Lenoardo hotel are adjacent to a large parking lot with over 1500 parking spaces. The costs are €14 per car per day.

The International FOXP1 Foundation (IFF) is not responsible for your accommodations or transportation costs to and from the conference.

Conference will be in English, but there will be translation possibilities in main languages by applications (more details will follow before conference)
Family Registration costs

$50 USD per family

$25 USD per single person

Payment is required at time of registration

The International FOXP1 Foundation (IFF) is again subsidizing the registration costs to make it more affordable for families.

We hope that you will be able to donate additional funds to the foundation to help with the costs of the conference
Registration fee includes:

The registration fee includes the conference, Thursday Meet and Greet and dinner, Friday lunch and dinner and Friday childcare

Friday 20 June 9:00 - 17:00 hrs - Free child care/day program for all FOXP1 individuals and their siblings.
Conditions of Registration

Registration will close April 10th 2025

In case of cancellation the registration fee will be refunded until 1st June 2025

The family registration fee is for members of one immediate family. Extended family members (grandparents, aunts, uncles, or friends) should register separately as a family or a single person.

The child care/day program is only available to individuals with FOXP1 syndrome and their siblings. It is not available to extended family and friends such as cousins or children of friends

Additional information on your child's behaviour will be asked closer to the conference date. Please ensure all information is provided when requested so the organizers can plan for a safe and fun child care /day program.

If there is a possibility to bring your own caretaker we strongly recommend this. Due to the multilingual group it will be difficult to provide caretakers that speak all languages.
