Family Gathering and Conference 2023

The International FOXP1 Foundation is pleased to host the 2nd family gathering for our international FOXP1 families and scientific community.

The Foundation's mission is to build a global community that empowers and supports families and individuals with FOXP1 syndrome by sharing knowledge, inspiring hope, encouraging research, and raising awareness.  

~ The Family Gathering and Conference 2023 will help make that a reality ~

We would love all of our FOXP1 families to join us at this gathering. If you require financial assistance to make this trip a reality, please reach out to (cdury@foxp1.org).   Requests will be considered in the order of receipt.

Wednesday, June 21st  4:00 - 8:00 pm   ~  Meet & Greet

An opportunity to meet other families and talk with researchers

Registration will be open

Researchers will present a poster board outlining their project


Thursday, June 22nd 9:00 am - 4:00 pm ~ Conference and Child Care

 

Doors and Registration will be open by 8:30 am 

A continental breakfast will be served and child care will be open

9:00 am Conference opens

9:15 am First Presentation

10:30 am Second Presentation

11:30 -12:30 Buffet lunch

12:30 Third Presentation

1:30 - 3:00 pm Break out groups

3:00 pm Round Table


Thursday, June 22nd 4:00 - 6:30 pm ~ Family time and Dinner

4:00 pm Children join their parents in main hall

4:00 - 5:00 pm Social Hour

5:00 - 6:00 pm Buffet dinner

6:30 pm Conference closed


Friday, June 23rd ~ Family gathering

A day of games for the children, brunch and relaxation while visiting with families at a lovely private home in Long Island.

Seaver Center will contact families directly to arrange a private time for assessments.

The topics for the breakout sessions will be identified once registration is closed, this will give everyone an opportunity to identify their preferred topics.
