We learned about our Hailey’s FOXP1 diagnosis in July of 2020. At that point, we were already 16 years down this unique path. We never could have guessed the knowledge that would be unlocked for us.
Her perseverance inspires us every day! Acquiring skills has not come easy, but with the right therapies and programs in place she reaches her goals. We do our best to teach and guide her, knowing full well that she teaches us so much more. It is a blessing to see the world through her lens! We are committed to helping her acquire the skills she needs to maximize her independence.
With further research and support, children with FOXP1 Syndrome will continue to make gains every day. We look with hope toward a future with endless possibilities.
